Ratchet Tie Down 500kg

Simply Ratchet Tie Downs are all TUV and GS approved. These dependable ratchet straps have strong hooks to securely attach loads to vehicles or trailers. The quick and easy to use ratchet system ensures loads can be tightened down and not move during transit.

BREAK STRENGTH - 500kg is designed for smaller loads. Higher break strengths are available.

EASY TO USE - Easy to set up and use. Simply pull the strap taught before cranking the ratchet handle. 

 

HOOK ENDS - Strong hooked ends can easily be clipped to tie-down points. Ideal for trailers, in vans and roof racks. 

SINGLE PACK - This pack contains one strap. 

Tightening Instructions:

1. With the ratchet buckle in an accessible area, wrap the ratchet strap around the desired area.
NB: Ensure the metal connectors either side of the strap are firmly interlocked.
2. With the ratchet closed, thread the strap from bottom to top around the metal cross-section and then back through inbetween the metal cross-section. (See Figure 1 above).
3. Pull the trigger on the ratchet buckle and begin ratcheting back and forth until the strap is as tight as possible. Close the ratchet buckle. (See Figure 2 above).                          

Releasing Instructions:

1. Pull the trigger on the buckle.
2. Rotate the buckle to a completely open position until it locks into place. 
3. Pull strap from non-fixed side to release the strap.
4. Pull the trigger on the ratchet buckle to close.
