Castrol GTD Plus offers 4 times better viscosity control than a conventional 15W-40 diesel lubricant and maintains the fuel efficiency of a diesel engine. Conventional diesel oils thicken up considerably over time as they combat soot, so fuel consumption increases. Castrol GTD Plus is different as it contains unique hydrocarbon polymers which control soot better than these other oils, so the oil does not become significantly thicker. Therefore optimum fuel efficiency of the engine is maintained. Disperses soot particles and so prevents large soot deposits from forming and damaging the engine.
